Replace ScrollView with FlatList and set getItemLayout, windowSize and removeClippedSubviews. Memoise row components with React.memo and avoid creating new functions or objects in renderItem.

Enable Hermes, compress images to the display size, and profile on a real low-end device in release mode: debug builds are always much slower. Measure before optimising.
